Room

The room is located on the second floor of a detached Art Nouveau villa with garden and is rented furnished. The furnishings include a desk with chair, a bed including mattress, a closet and a shelf. The room is approx. 22 m² in size with a ceiling height of approx. 3.5 meters, as is typical for an old building. The design and the large windows provide sufficient light throughout the day and thus create a pleasant atmosphere throughout the house. In addition to this room, there are several common rooms on the first floor as well as a bar, table football and Playstation, so that you can take a break between all the studying during the semester.

Location

The art nouveau villa is centrally located in Kaiserslautern. The old town and the city center can be reached in about 5 minutes on foot. The central bus stop is also located here, from where a bus leaves for the university every 15 minutes. It takes about 15 minutes by bike and almost the same time by bus. In addition, the FH can be reached in 5-10 minutes on foot. There are also shopping facilities nearby. These include a Netto supermarket just 500m away, as well as the "K" shopping mall in the city center. So there should be no problems stocking up on the essentials.

Life on the house

As a flatmate, you will have the opportunity to get to know the advantages of the Franconia Berlin university group. This includes joint activities and parties, while at the same time older students, documents and other knowledge are available to ensure that your studies are not neglected. A spacious basement room with a weight bench, among other things, ensures that you can confidently take a dip in the pool set up in the summer. You are also welcome to develop your musical talents on the piano.

As we are not a short-lived community of convenience, we naturally expect something from our prospective members. We are looking for young, committed students who are enthusiastic about new things and want to play their part in a community. We believe that a student should not only be committed, curious and ambitious during their studies, but also beyond. Because it's not about completing your studies as quickly as possible with the least amount of effort, but about learning something for your life and having a good time at the same time. That's exactly what you'll find with us. So you should be open-minded in your dealings with new people and enjoy community life
Of course we could tell you more about us here, but if you want to make your student life more interesting than usual, we are the right place for you. During the semester, we travel around Germany and the world a lot (e.g. a visit to the Oktoberfest in the winter semester) or go sailing on the beautiful coast of Croatia, as we did last summer semester
If we have piqued your interest, just get in touch! There are usually several dates when we all organize a barbecue together after the house tour. This gives you the opportunity to get to know us better. If you don't have time on these dates, you can also just drop by. If you have a longer journey, there is of course also the possibility of staying with us for a few days free of charge.

Become part of a lively community of young students

We help each other with our studies, do a lot together and prepare ourselves for working life.
